Life Sciences Database, AI-Based Research Tools – Access and Webinar.

Starting from May 5, the following resources will be available for trial access at the University: the BioFinder life sciences database, the Web of Science Research Assistant AI-based tool, and CNKI AI.
We also offer an online training session to help you get familiar with these services.




About the services:


BioFinder
Provides comprehensive biomarker data and protein–ligand interactions with integrated predictive models.
As an extension of the SciFinder-n platform, it supports various stages and types of chemical and life sciences research, including retrosynthetic planning, biosimilarity searches, bioactivity data exploration, visualizations, formulation, and analytical content.
The trial period is available until June 3; all features are accessible except for downloading.

Web of Science Research Assistant

An AI-based tool designed to help researchers quickly find relevant content and efficiently navigate complex research tasks.
It supports new users in exploring research topics and helps experienced researchers gain fresh insights.
The tool operates in accordance with publisher and industry usage rights and complies with data privacy and security standards.
The trial period runs until May 20.

 Access


CNKI AI
An AI-powered scientific research tool built on the Huazhi Language Model and CNKI's extensive literature database.
It enables researchers to quickly locate relevant literature, generate summaries, and enhance research efficiency through intelligent writing and translation, plagiarism checking, and metadata export.
The trial period runs until May 31.

Access: Available via the University’s IP addresses after individual registration.
