What should I do if I have forgotten my username?
If you have forgotten your username, please contact your department administrator.
If you have forgotten your password or are unable to log in after multiple attempts, please use the 'Forgot Password' tab on the MTMT login page and request a password reset email. The system will automatically send an email to the address stored in the database, which will contain further instructions. If you don't find the email in your inbox, please check your spam folder as well.
What password should I set?
The required password length is a minimum of 8 characters. It is recommended to use both lowercase and uppercase letters, as well as numbers.
Who can register in MTMT?
Anyone can register in the MTMT database.
It is advisable to register if, as a PhD student, you have already published independent works or co-authored publications. It is becoming increasingly common for university students to engage in publishing activities, so after registering, they too can become users of the database.
In addition to the bibliographic data of scientific publications, the database can also record descriptive data of artistic activities and their products.
Where and how can I register?
On the MTMT homepage, click on the "Registration" menu.
During registration, you will need to fill out a form where fields marked with a red * are mandatory!

What should should i select in the "Workplace" field of the registration fortm?
If you are a university student at the University of Pécs (PTE): Find the University of Pécs in the list! Use the dropdown arrow to select the "University Students" unit, then within that, choose the Faculty where you are studying.
If you are a PhD student at the University of Pécs (PTE): Find the University of Pécs in the list! Use the dropdown arrow to select the "Doctoral Schools" unit, then within that, choose the specific Doctoral School where you are studying.
If you are a full-time instructor, researcher, or other employee at any unit of the University of Pécs (PTE): Find the University of Pécs in the list! Use the dropdown arrow to select the smallest institutional/departmental unit within your Faculty where you work.
If you are not an employee of the University of Pécs (PTE): If the institution where you work is registered in the MTMT, then select that institution as your workplace! If you do not find it in the list, you will be classified as an "MTMT Centrally Managed Author" because you are not affiliated with any institution within the MTMT.
Where can i find my MTMT ID?
The MTMT ID (an 8-digit identification number) can be found in the top row of the "Personal Data Sheet" after logging into the database.
What should I do to ensure that the "date of completion of announcements" is updated and the new date appears on the public interface and in all lists?
After logging into the database, go to the "Edit My Data" menu and update the "Announcements up to date" field with the current date. Enter the date in the format (year-month-day).
What should I do if I want to log in with eduID?
After logging in, click on your username located to the left of the "Log Out" button in the upper right corner. From the dropdown menu, select "Edit My Data." On the form that opens, click the "Link eduID" button in the lower left corner.
On the next screen, select "University of Pécs," and after entering your university ID (EHA or Neptun code) and password, you will be able to use MTMT with your university ID.
What complete scientific publication mean?
Complete scientific publications" are defined in the decision of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences dated September 25, 2012.
Where can i find a guide for recording my publications and references?
A guide for using the MTMT2 system has been prepared, which can help with performing various operations. If you need further assistance, please contact the person responsible for MTMT data entry or the department administration staff.
What should I do if my co-author has already uploaded the publication, but it doesn't appear on my list yet?
In this case, you need to assign the publication to your own name. Follow the steps in the PDF document available for download from the link!
Incorrect ways of entry:
Entering an & symbol in the "Editor" field (in this case, the work can be approved).
Entering the authors of the individual studies as the authors of the entire volume (this will cause the record to appear multiple times in the authors' scientometric tables).
SOLUTION: The correct way of entry is to type [sn] in the editor field.
How can I transfer my data (publications, scientometric data) to doktori.hu?
Data transfer can be done according to the guides provided by doktori.hu:
1. Compiling selected publications in the MTMT database
2.Importing into the ODT system
3.Additional assistance on the doktori.hu website.
How can I transfer my data (publications, tables) to the Electronic Application System (EPR)?
Data transfer can be carried out according to the method specified by NKFIH: follow the information provided in the "Transferring data from the Hungarian Scientific Works Database (MTMT) to the EPR application system" section on the NKFIH application website.
