On 1 January, 2022, the Historical Collection of the University will be temporarily closed until January 2023 when it will open again and will able to welcome its visitors with renewed themes and updated content.
Since the opening of the permanent exhibition in November 2010, there
have been major organizational changes in the structure of the University of
Pécs that cannot be reflected properly in the current structure of the
exhibition. On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the
relocation of Erzsébet University to Pécs, courtesy of the Centenary Programme
Committee, the University of Pécs Library and Centre for Knowledge had the
opportunity to partially redesign the existing permanent exhibition, with
updated and broadened content and new interactive elements.
We will also be waiting for our visitors with a brand new museum
pedagogical program related to the new exhibition.
